Upon your arrival in the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh, still called “Saigon” by many locals, your guide will welcomed you at the airport and then transfer you to hotel for check –in. Your room is at disposal from 14:00. Free at leisure to relax in the rest of the day. Meals on your own.

Pick up in Saigon and head north by vehicle to Cat Tien National Park (about 150 kilometers or a 3 ½ hour drive)

Activities: Venture out Cat Tien National Park, trek through the jungle to see wild birds and animals.

The accommodation and restaurant in Cat Tien National Park are very basic and rustic, which cannot be compared to other places in the city. Because of the condition in the park, there can be some small bugs or insects in the room.

Cat Tien National Park

Morning jungle trek out to Bau Sau - crocodile lake and back (10 kilometers)

After lunch in the park, depart by vehicle to Da Lat. Breathtaking scenery along the way with coffee and tea plantations, jungle blanketed valleys and pine forested hills (200 km or 4 hour drive).

Check into hotel. Have dinner at a pretty cafes.

Back to hotel for a good night's rest before next day's adventure.

Arrival back at the hotel between 2:30 and 5:00 pm depending on trip taken and fitness level.

Activities: Slingshot mountain biking day. Biking Grade: 8 – Physically Challenging (29 kilometer ride).

A trip to the Highlands wouldn't be complete without exploring the beautiful jungles and lakes in the region. Nothing beats the stunning views of mountains and forests from the serenity of Tuyen Lam Lake. Head deep into the jungle on foot and by boat through small rivers and tributaries that feed into the lake.

This fantastic trip is one that can be enjoyed by those of almost any fitness levels. A great day out for those who love to be on the water.

Duration: 2 hours of hiking and 2 hours of paddling (paddling is customizable)

Tuyen Lam Lake

7:00 am pick up at your hotel and departure to start of the ride (20 minutes outside of Dalat).

Fantastic riding section about 17 kilometers downhill to Tanung. Flat to rolling hills after this.

Transfer by vehicle (or ride part ways) to the top of Phu Son Pass for an early lunch at 11:30 am.

Bike down Phu Son Pass to Lak Lake where we overnight in Lak Resort. Dinner and breakfast in Lak Lake

Activities: 17 km bike riding along the coastal line

After breakfast head out to visit one of the old summer retreats of Emperor Bao Dai.

Take a boat to a remote village on the far side of Lak Lake. Some light trekking is possible from this village.

Back to Lak Lake for lunch and a rest before the 50 km bike ride to Buon Me Thuot. (mostly flat).

Arrive in Buon Me Thuot around 4:30 pm. Evening free to explore.

Activities: Visit to King Bao Dai Emperor's palace on the way

50 km bike to Buon Ma Thuot

From the hotel we transfer about 6.5 km out of the city before we begin biking.

The first 10km is on a beautiful country road that eventually narrows even further and wanders through small farms and villages for about 15 km (very flat).

After this we enter into a very stunning rubber tree plantation that continues for 25 km (rolling with some small hills).

Lunch will be taken on the way (picnic style lunch on this day).

30 km more of biking is possible after lunch before we transfer the rest of the way to the hotel in Pleiku

Activities: All day riding along the rubber tree plantation with stunning scenery

Leisurely breakfast at the hotel and a later start to the day.

Departure by bike from the hotel at around 8:00 or 8:30 am.

Visit a "Sea Lake" on the way.

Visit a local minority village (Ba Na), a scenic suspension bridge and a traditional wooden church. Then, continue visiting Russian Tanks and Charlie Hill.

Lunch in Kontum.

In the afternoon, keep biking about 69 km thru rolling hills to hotel in Ngoc Hoi.

The evening is free to explore the town.

Activities: A day to understand more abouth the Central Highland's ethinic minority culture and daily life

Breakfast at the hotel and an early departure at 7:00 am.

This is the best riding day of the trip with a fantastic 80 kilometer section of deep jungle forest on both sides of the road. The ride is also very hilly and runs along the border of Ngoc Linh National Park and Ngoc Linh Mtn. (2400 meters) through the Truong Son Mountains.

This is also the day that we travel along the famous Ho Chi Minh Trail.

The Ba Na and Sedang minorities reside in this jungle area.

Lunch along the way at a local restaurant.

Vehicle transfer in the afternoon the rest of the way to Phuoc Son with an estimated arrival at 5:00 pm.

Dinner will be organized in Phuoc Son with an overnight in a comfortable local guest house.

Activities: Travel along the famoun Ho Chi Minh trail, visit the jungle area through the Truong Son mountains

After lunch continue by vehicle to Hoi An World Heritage Site (approx. 70 km) with an estimated arrival at 3:00 pm.
