We start the trip by biking on the crowded streets through the Old Quarters. Hanoi Old Quarter has a long history of 2000 years of development which is the beating heart of the city. In here, bustling life of Hanoians is reflected in the most vivid way with crowded streets of people trading with each other.

Then pass the Red River on Long Bien Bridge. Following the path along the dyke of the Red River, we’ll make our way to the first stop: Bat Trang Pottery Village - a small village in the north of Vietnam, is about 13 kilometers south east of Hanoi center. Most of the craftsmen here are specialized for producing many famous ceramic and pottery products of high quality. Bat Trang’s vases, bowls, dishes, and many other kinds of ceramic products have been exported worldwide. Coming to this village, you can also try making a ceramic product by yourself!

After a short break, when you get your mind refreshed by Vietnamese’s traditional green-tea, we visit the pottery workshop of artisan, who will tell you the stories of Bat Trang Village as well as show you the process of making ceramic products.

Afterwards, the cycling day trip will keep on exploring the around area, passing over small ancient-temples, through tiny alleys to find the main road lead to a new urban area of Eco Park.

Leaving the Eco Park, we ride to local restaurant where lunch will be served.

On the way back to Hanoi, we will visit an interesting and mysterious Bonsai Garden – the garden of sophisticate tree sculpting.

The last stop-over is at the Red River Pottery Market of Quang Ba. The route will also take you passing the Red River’s floating houses and fields of colorful flowers.
