If you are looking for an extremely new experience in Hoi An, let’s spend a day with us ascending uphill and discover the very particular way of life of Cotu ethnic people in Dong Giang. Dong Giang is in Quang Nam Upland, about 70 km away from Hoi An to the east. The trip will give you a chance to discover new lands and culture passing the spectacular natural mountain. You will also have the opportunity to visit BoHoong village - a typical village of Kotu community, Zara village - a village specializing in making silk with manual methods as well as exploring a part of Ho Chi Minh Trail – the legendary road during the Vietnam War and Grang Waterfall.
In the morning, you should take a breakfast box on the car. The car and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and depart for mountain area. The first stop is Tea farm. Next, drive along the mountain road to Ba Hom Village, home of Co Tu ethnic people. Have lunch in the village. In the afternoon, visit the Zara handicraft village where they produce the handmade products with Co Tu style. Next, take a short trek to a waterfalls and enjoy freshwater surrounding the old growth forest before go back to the hotel.
