Binh Duong Village Uncover Day Trip

8:00 – 08.30 AM – Pick up from your hotel for a full day orientating of Binh Duong. A short drive takes you to a local pottery factory – the most famous product of more than 160 years in town. This factory produces thousands of pottery pieces every year, with its main product line consisting of water vases of various sizes. Formed by the hands of skilful workers from a special type of clay only available in the locality, the workshop’s pottery is popular in markets in the Mekong Delta as well as in neighboring Cambodia.

You could learn how to be “an artist” and tried to make something fun for the keepsake. Our next visit will be a calm and beautiful garden where the local family produces rice noodle. They will demonstrate how to make traditional Vietnamese rice noodles from scratch! You would also try to make some by your bare hand and enjoy the sample.

Hop on the Vietnamese traditional bus “ xe lam” or cycle around the beautiful rubber forest. Stop at the local business for a cup of cane juice and try some rice paper salad. Relax after activities.

In the afternoon, you'll spend time at the beautiful and modern kindergarten where you could learn how to cook a family meal - one of the unique Vietnamese traditions, which emblematizes the beauty and longevity of Vietnamese culture. It carries the meaning of reunion and creates strong bonds among generations in the family. The image of a woman preparing dishes and the joyful atmosphere in family gatherings will always be the most beautiful and unforgettable memory of every Vietnamese away from home.

Pick – up some green and organic vegetable from their garden and bring it for your delicious lunch would be full of laugh and knowledge.
