This tour will help you discover and understand the beauty and the mixture of Khmer, Chinese and Vietnamese cultural features in the region. You will instantly be welcomed and invited to participate in, or simply enjoy experiencing everyday life going on around you. You stay in homestay surrounded by landscaped tropical trees and ideally situated in a quiet area at suburb in Cau Ke townlet and near the lower branch of the mighty Mekong River. Pick up at your hotel in Saigon and drive to Cau Ke town.
On arrival you will check in homestay and have lunch.
In the afternoon you will walk or cycle through the villages to Ba Mi. You will see how local farmers work on their rice paddy or local gardeners does their gardening (growing vegetables or fruit trees). Visit Ba Mi church and school (there is no schooling during summer vacation from May till September). Finish your walking/cycling at a Khmer pagoda before getting back to homestay.
