Experience Mekong Delta at Ben Tre Homestay 2 Days

Around 8:00 pick up at hotel and drive to Huu Dinh village in Ben Tre.

Walk in the flower fields and feel the daily life of the people in this land of coconut. Visit handicraft workshops and walk in. Next, enjoy a leisurely boat trip along meandering canal under the shade of palm trees on the shore. Stop to visit the Thanh Thuy coconut’s garden where you can enjoy coconut water and other freshly picked tropical fruits. Then take a ride on local vehicle called "xe loi" (motor-cart) on the village roads through the green coconut forest and cocoa garden to visit grapefruit and coconut gardens. Have lunch with featured dishes of the delta region at the garden of Mr.10 Ưa (Thuy Uyen Restaurant).

Check in homestay accommodation. Spend the afternoon experience the slow pace of life in this peaceful place. Stroll around the village, join garden work with farmers, go fishing or to plant a tree of your (so in the future, you can come back to visit your tree)... Together with local host, prepare and cook dinner. This is a chance to learn more about cooking methods and recipes in Mekong Delta.

In the evening, talk with the village elders who will tell you about legendary "Long-hair army" of Ben Tre and the Dong Khoi revolution in 1960. Another choice is a boat trip in the legendary Ba Lai river.

Take boat trip along Ba Lai River for relax tension, see daily activities by the riverside. Stop to visit a coconut coir manufacturing facility. Next is a coconut candy workshop - where you can see how they make the famous specialty of the province (Keo Dua Ben Tre - Ben Tre's Coconut candy).

Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. End of tour.
